Catalan Days: MUSIC, PERFORMANCE + MEDIA

Admission for all Catalan events at BAC is free, reservations are required. 

There are no more advance reservations available for this event.  Advance reservations will be honored until 10:30PM.  Standby tickets will be available on a first come first served basis.

SonarSound NY

Barcelona’s annual Sonar festival is a premiere destination on the international electronic dance music scene. Making its first U.S. appearance as part of Catalan Days, SonarSoundNY takes over the Baryshnikov Arts Center with multimedia art: installations, performances, and electronic, hip hop and alternative dance music by some of the most influential talents from New York, Catalonia, and the Balearic Islands.

Catalan Days is a multidisciplinary festival in New York City featuring leading artists from Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. Produced by the Institut Ramon Llull, the festival includes dance, film, literature, classical, jazz and electronic music, plus world famous Catalan cuisine, and is held in partnership with the Baryshnikov Arts Center, Jazz Standard, Lincoln Center’s Film Society, PEN American Center World Voices, Carnegie Hall, and the CUNY Graduate Center.
